3. Go to the Backup section and select the Backup tab in the upper menu. BullGuard Backup includes backup profiles you can create for various situations. For example, you can create a profile to save your work on a different location on your computer on a daily basis, while another one can upload them to your online drive every week.

To add a new backup profile, press the New Backup button. To remove files from your list, press the Remove button instead.

a. If you wish to schedule the backup, please click the When tab and click "I want to select a schedule". Then choose an interval and a start date & time. If you do not wish to schedule your backup, please skip this step.

b. BullGuard Backup also comes with a synchronization mode, which works in conjunction with the scheduled backup. By default, BullGuard Backup will never delete files from your backup if they have been deleted from your computer. However, the synchronization mode can help save space on the online drive by deleting old files you have deleted from your computer as well. This is especially useful if you use the backup to store your work files - this way you will only have their most recent versions on the backup drive, instead of older ones.

Attention: if you accidentally delete a file from your computer and have "Synchronization mode" enabled, then when the scheduled backup begins, BullGuard Backup will delete that file from the online drive as well.

7. Finally, click the OK button and then press Run Now. The backup will now start and the files will be added to your backup.
