 Activating your BullGuard Mobile subscription

You may experience that your BullGuard continues to state that you have a trial, even though you have just purchased a subscription. Or that your subscription is still expired, even though you just renewed it.

  

This is caused by the fact that your account-status is stored on our online server, and your local copy of BullGuard Mobile has to check this server, before it can know that your status has changed. Normally, BullGuard Mobile checks this status every time you start your Internet connection, but if you are not connected to the internet when BullGuard Mobile launches, this may cause the above problem.

 

You have 2 easy ways of fixing this.

 

Note: This guide is for BullGuard Mobile 2.0. If you are using a different version, choose the following guide: BullGuard Mobile 1.5

 

 

1- button    If you have bought BullGuard Mobile in a store, click here to activate your BullGuard subscription.

 

 

 

2- button    If you have bought from our website, you can use BullGuard Mobile to activate your subscription.

 

First, please connect your device to the Internet and open BullGuard Mobile by tapping its icon on the Desktop:

Next, tap on Menu in the lower-left corner of the screen, then choose Your account.

This is where you see all relevant information about your BullGuard account.

If you do not have a BullGuard account, you will have to create (or register) one. To do so, please tap the Options button. Next, choose the Register User option. 

 

To create your BullGuard account, please enter an email address (this will be your BullGuard username) and choose a password.

If you already have a BullGuard account, please tap the "No, I already have a BullGuard user" text. This will take you to the login page. You can also access the login page by choosing the Change user option instead of the Register User option.

 

Next, type your username and password before tapping the OK button.

BullGuard Mobile will connect our servers and retreive your account status. This process will take a few seconds and as soon as it is over you will be prompted with the Logged in successfully! message.

If this does not work, you may have accidentally purchased BullGuard Mobile under a different or misspelled username (email address) than the one you are currently using.

 

If this is the case, please check the confirmation email sent to you after the purchase and find your username there. Then enter the correct BullGuard username and password.

 

That's it! You have just activated your account.
