Scanning your device for viruses with BullGuard Mobile
One of the main objectives for BullGuard Mobile Antivirus is to keep your device safe from viruses.
This is first and foremost done by keeping new malware out of your device, by scanning any new files downloaded
or copied onto it.
However, there is a great risk that viruses have already penetrated your system, prior to your installing BullGuard Mobile. This is why it's a very good idea to scan your device for resident threats after you've installed the program. And it's definitely also a good idea to make it your routine to frequently scan your mobile device.
To scan your device, please follow this guide:
Scanning with BullGuard Mobile Antivirus
First of all, open BullGuard Mobile Antivirus.

Click the Scan Now option to start a full antivirus scanning process. BullGuard Mobile Antivirus will show information about you every file and folder that is being scanned.

At the end of the scan, you will be prompted with a window containing the scan statistics: total scanned files and number of viruses found (if any).

If you click the OK option in the window above, you will see a full log of the antivirus scan. Hopefully, you will get the "No viruses found" message :)

BullGuard has also the option to perform custom scans. First, click the Custom Scan option on the main screen.

You will now be able to choose the files and folders you want to scan.

Select a folder and click the Scan button.

BullGuard will start scanning the selected folder, then provide the scan results.
Updating
To make sure your BullGuard Mobile finds all viruses, you shoud update your virus definitions periodically. It is a good idea to do so before every scan.

Click the Update Now button on the main screen. If there updates are available, you will be prompted to
download and install them. When your BullGuard Mobile has updated, you will receive a pop-up message stating
that your virus definitions are up-to-date.

Using the BullGuard logs
BullGuard will provide important information about your scans in 2 different logs.
The first log can be accessed from the Menu > OnDemand Scan Log option.

This log contains all information regarding the On-Demand scans performed on your mobile device.

The second log offers important information regarding all infected files that have been moved, opened, copied or downloaded on your mobile device. You can access this log from the Menu > FileMonitor Log option.

Hopefully, the log will look like this :)

It means that no infected files have been used on your mobile device.
That's it! You are now able to scan your mobile device with BullGuard Mobile Antivirus!
