Keeping your BullGuard Mobile up-to-date
New mobile threats are found and identified periodically. This is why it is very important to keep your BullGuard Mobile up-to-date with the latest virus definitions.
If you are connected to the Internet, BullGuard Mobile takes care of this itself: it checks for new definitions when you turn on your Pocket PC and every 8 hours after that (by default). If any new virus definitions are available, BullGuard Mobile will update itself.
If you are not connected to the Internet all the time, BullGuard Mobile will check for updates immediately after you connect to the Internet.
If you want to check for updates manually or change the way BullGuard updates, please read the guide below.
Note: This guide is for BullGuard Mobile 2.0. If you are using a different version, choose the following guide: BullGuard Mobile 1.5

Auto-updating settings
First, open BullGuard Mobile from the Applications menu:

In BullGuard Mobile's main screen, please go to Options > Main and choose Settings.

In the next screen, you will be able to view and change the auto-updating period. You may change this period by selecting a new one from the drop-down list.

Manual updates
In BullGuard Mobile's main screen, you will see the Update button. When you tap it, BullGuard connects to our servers in order to search and get the latest updates.

If there is an available update, BullGuard will download it and install it after asking for your permision.

If there are no available updates, you will be notified that your virus definitions database is up-to-date.
Note: You can always update manually your BullGuard even if you are not on the main screen. You can use the
Options >
Main >
Update option.
Congratulations! Your BullGuard Mobile Antivirus is now up-to-date!
Kind regards,
