How to remove viruses manually
In rare instances, BullGuard is not able to remove an infected file automatically.
Why BullGuard cannot remove some infected files
BullGuard does not have the legal rights to modify some types of archives (such as email archives, .cab archives, .zip or .ace) or to modify some system, protected files and locations such as System Restore.
BullGuard cannot remove an infected file when:
The virus is already loaded in the active processes.
The infected file is started as a system service.
The active (loaded in the memory) infected files are not system files.
It is trojans, vbs viruses, backdoors, flooders or applications, which are stand-alone files and don't infect other files.

These viruses need special attention and removal tools - in this case you should contact our support directly.
