    How do I scan my computer?

     

    You can easily scan your computer by opening BullGuard from the Start menu > All Programs > BullGuard. Afterwards, click the (...) button from the Antivirus box and then click on an Antivirus Profile of your choice.

    You can also start the Antivirus scan, within the Antivirus Settings section > Advanced mode section, click on Manage Profiles, select one of the profiles, click on the drop-down button and choose Execute.

    How do I schedule a scan?

    If you wish to schedule a scan, open the BullGuard application, click the (...) button from the Antivirus box in the Main window then select Settings. Click on Advanced from the top-right of the window and then click on Manage Profiles, select the desired profile (or even create a new one as shown here), click on the When tab and click I want to select a schedule. Set the profile to run when it is most convenient for you .

    BullGuard blocked an infection, what do I do now?

    BullGuard will block most unwanted files before getting the chance to harm your computer. However, in order to make sure everything is in order, we recommend you to run a full computer scan with BullGuard in Safe Mode.

    In order to restart your PC in Safe Mode please follow the instructions from this guide.

    Once in Safe Mode, open BullGuard from the Start menu > All Programs > BullGuard. Afterwards in the main application screen, click the (...) button from the Antivirus box and then click on Full Scan. At the end of the scan make sure to click on Fix until all issues are resolved and only then restart in Normal Mode.
