Problems with the Bullguard's update process

I am using Windows XP SP2 and an Ethernet device to make a ISDN connection.

When I start my machine the screen displays a window like this:



"Important update - restart computer?



An important update is now available for Bullguard.

In order to implement this update, your computer must be restarted.

You should close open programs and restart you computer.

Do you want to restart your computer now?"



Below this message two buttons are available "Restart" and "Later".



Even I restart my computer, the message is shown again.

It seems that the update was not processed. But no other window pointing this is shown.

When I access the Bullguard window the recomended task is "update antivirus" and it points to the last update for a few days ago.

What can I do?

Sometimes the update gets stuck in a loop. There is some information about this here

This could be the same as your problem.

i have the same problem - i have Windows Vista can you please advise how i find the flag files on vista.
