I just upgraded my computer from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I set a password on it. However, the computer says the password was wrong after update. Is this normal? And how to fix it?

Some wireless network drivers have bugs where they go to low power state (sleep) and don't wake up. If this is the case a wireless card may not use enough power to send a signal to your router. The router would still send a signal to the wireless card. Try and use a wired connection, or power cycle your machine to get, or move your machine closer to the router.

When you type the password in the login screen, you can see the small eye icon in the upper right corner of the password prompt. Click that icon to confirm if you typed correctly. If you still can't sign in to Windows, try the free password utilities like Offline NT Password & Registry Editor, Ophcrack or others:

Once you're logged back in, you can create a system restore point. The next time you forgot the login, you can do a system restore to fix it.
