My trial version, which I was very happy with, has now expired. My PC is getting on a bit, so I'll be ordering a new PC in the next month or so. I imagine there's a chance this might come with Windows 7 .

a) Is "Bullguard for Windows 7" a different product?

b) I prefer to have a cd-rom product rather than a download. If I buy a copy of 8.5, am I correct in thinking it'll be upgraded after installation to 8.7?

Hello again,

I will reply in an orderly fashion:

a) The latest BullGuard version available is compatible with Windows 7, so you should not worry about that.
b) We do not provide such services (you can only purchase the subscription from us and download the application). Now you can purchase a BullGuard CD with an older version from any reseller or on-line shop, but since you want to have a newer version on the CD that is not useful.

Now regarding the version number, the current BullGuard 8.5 is actually the latest version (8.7 witch is Windows 7 compatible) but we reverted to the number 8.5 to avoid any issues with our resellers that already had BullGuard 8.5 OEM.

Ok, thanks. I'll buy 8.5 from Amazon, put it on my current PC, then put a second copy on my new PC when I get it. Do I need to register with my current user name, and if I do that, will the files in my 100k backup still be available?

Dear Jim,

As long as you register the new license key with the same username (email address) you will have access to the files you backed-up while in trial.

Ok, thanks. I've ordered a copy, now have to wait for it to arrive.
