I'm somewhat disaapointed by the anti-theft features in Bullguard. There doesn't seem to be any anti-theft feature for laptops/desktop PCs and the mobile app doesn't seem to have a feature to send a message to the person who has found or stolen the device to tell them how to return it. As I don't have Bullguard on my mobile phones at the moment (I'm now using ESET), I seem to remember that either the locate or lock feature was not available either, but I can't be sure which. Surely all these features should be considered to be essentials?

Hi Brian, welcome to our forum!

I am sorry to hear that we did not rise to your expectation.

Antitheft technology exists for laptops and desktops, but are usually installed by the IT person configuring the device, not by users at home because it's more complex.

Mobile Security comes with Antitheft features, but at this time, indeed the Lock function no longer works on Android V6 and up, due to OS changes.

I have passed your suggestions along to our product managers for improving our products.

Good things are coming soon to the Android application, although I cannot reveal anything at this time. Stay tunned.

Thank you for your feedback!
