The service with the issue is trying to complete a task. This is why we need to investigate the logs, to learn which task it is and why it is having issues completing. This is not a general issue.

Please provide me with your support ticket number and I will look into it myself.

Got the exact same problem.

Had it now for two months or something. It started very recently. And the service can start at any time and just consume lots of CPU power, over 40% sometimes on my 4 core system. It creates lag in games and other activities. I can use task manager and stop it, and that calm things down for a while. There is no setting to dissable this in the software. And, I have no need for E-mail scaning really so I've no idea what it's doing. I do have this Email-App in Win10, but I really don't use it. So I've no idea what this process is trying to accomplish really.

So when can we expect this issue to be fixed? Getting quite irritating. And to have the best Antivirus on the market to act like this is very annoying.

I have to open up the task manager several times A day to shut down that thing. It's especially irritating when you play alot of games.

I looked into this and was unable to locate your logs.

Go to this location: My Computer/Computer/This PC -> Local Disk C: ->Program Files -> BullGuard Ltd ->BullGuard -> Support and double click the CollectLogs.bat from the Support folder in order to execute it;

This will create a BullGuard Logs.7z file on your desktop.

Reply to your ticket with the logs (the number you gave me 279-215F9DC7-0391), or just mention that in your reply, so we can link it to your case.

It would also help to know if you tried to open task manager > services > open services and try to start the service manually from there. If it doesn't start, it will give you an error code which we can use to better understand why this is happening.

I also have this 'email monitoring' problem taking up 50% CPU, even when email app is not active.

This I have reported [1DB-221ED8B6-0323] and run cleaner but problem persists.

Surely someone at Bullguard must know how to disable this annoying process!

Ive been having this problem for awhile.

Takes up to %80 resources

have disbaled it in settings n it still runs. left it running for 4 days to see if it ends n it wont stop.

ocaisionally it'll use a significant amount of data uploading something.

not sure why BullGuard needs this program to run and send several gigs of data weekly

The email monitoring service performs several tasks. Even if the sympthom is the same, the undelying cause for this issue, for each client is different. Please contact our support for full troubleshooting. We cannot properly troubleshoot this over the forum.
