BullGuard installation failure

Hi Everyone,

I have a bullguard subscription included as part of my ISP package.

When I try to install bullguard from the installer downloaded from my ISP account page, it always fails. The installer starts up OK, and definitely starts to download something over the internet - I can see the relevant LED flashing on the router, but after a couple of minutes I get a pop up that says I don't have a valid internet connection. Everything else works - browsing, email etc, so there is nothing wrong with the internet connection.

I've asked support about this, but was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems.

Its not PC related - I've had the same problem on multiple PCs.

Its not firewall related - I have temporarily disabled the windows firewall to see if it makes any difference - it doesn't.

I can install Bullguard from the installer downloaded from the bullguard web site, but that does not recognise the user name & password set up by my ISP.

The pop-up has a retry button and an abort button - retrying just fails again after a short while.

The ISP is Plusnet - in case thats relevant.
