First received this error notification yesterday, after restarting PC it has appeared again today.

Have read similar posts on the forum from as early as 2012 but they refer to different error codes anyway.

I do not have any other anti virus software installed (unless you count Windows Defender but the anti-virus isn't running, only the firewall is on)

I have restarted my PC.

I have tried clicking the enable button in the Bullguard gui but it has no effect.

Is my only remaining option to uninstall and re-install?

We are aware of the issue and it will be fixed in the next hotfix.

In the mean-time, please try restarting the computer (to restart the services) and try reinstalling BullGuard (you can download it from My Account section at the top ^ or from the free trials section - you activate your subscription by loggin in with your account-).

Thank you for reporting this!

Please restart your computer 2 times, with 5 minutes between each restart. If that doesn't fix the problem, reinstall BullGuard. The issue that was generating the problem has been fixed, but you may not have the latest version of BullGuard, or it requires to be re-registered.
