Full scan takes over 24 hours to complete

Hi

Scanning my system is taking in excess of 24 hours. Any ideas?

Windows 10 is up-to-date, no other scanner on-board, Defender not active, about 200Gb to scan.



In the end, I had to stop the scan - it then failed to stop. I had to restart the machine.



I rebooted, uninstalled and downloaded a fresh installation - same issue



Any help appreciated
