Sky Port 30005 Open

Hi,



I keep getting this on my Sky Hub when scanning on Home Network Scanner, See picture.



Anyone know how to fix this please?

Hello and welcome to our forum!

TR-069 uses port 30005 and is a remote management protocol although Sky said they don't use it.

Note: This page states you should login with username admin and password sky. I trully hope other reades see this post and change their default username and password for their router. Since you have made an inbound rule to block that port in the firewall, it should be fine now even if it's still open.

In any case, your internet service provider should be able to advise further. If they give you a better solution, perhaps you can share it here as well.
