BullGuard, you really do need to get the spammers on this Forum sorted out - it gives a very poor impression to prospective customers for a business selling an internet security product!

Hi NorthPole,

How I agree with you!

After campaigning about spam years ago I thought the new Forum had done away with all that rubbish.

Sad to see it's back again.

I am not convinced that the Forum has any active moderators.

A long time ago we were promised that spam would be a thing of the past when the new Forum was launched.

Sadly, spam is still very much in evidence.

Quite agree Iowe!  It is sad to see a reputable internet security provider allowing spam on its forum

If they cannot stop spammers on their own forum how can we trust them?

I recently decided to use BullGuard as my protection but looking at this Forum and finding certain bits of the software not working, Personal Protection for instance, although still being advertised as part of the suite, along with a terrible review in recent PCMag, I begin to wonder if the program actually is working at all. Very disappointed.

So last night I reported this issue through bg chat, sent a pic of the community web page and a link to it.

So far it seams they have got it under control, could see it was a bot by the frequency and place the spam was sent from, a new collage

every one minute.

Hey guys, missed me? :D Apparently I can't be sick. Well here I am.

The attack seems to come from Indian IPs mostly, but I have seen Chinese IP's in there as well, so I'm quite sure that, whoever they are, they are using proxies. Since that's easy to do nowadays, we are using multiple techniques to keep these people away from now on.

I personally wanted to stay away from those techniques, to allow freedom of speech for everyone, unmoderated.

It's sad this kind of attack exists because it raises walls where there should be none...

I am sorry and thank you for your understanding!

Thank you Andreea-Luciana - until recently the Forum had been free of spammers and it was sad to see that they had returned.

I am not sure what advantage the spammers get fom their activities - apart from annoying genuine Forum contributors!

It is good that you are keeping a watch on the situation.

With kind regards.

They use otherwise valid SEO techniques to boost their "validity" and thus boost their malicious advertisements on valid advertisement platforms, among other things.

This forum needs more Moderators who can man it every day. Shame messages can't have a telephone number filter to not bublish those. There should be no need for a telephone number within a forum message.

When the latest batch of spam appeared (02/16/2018) on the Bullguard Trial Users section I emailed BullGuard Support straight away.

Credit to them it was removed very swiftly.
