Hello and welcome to our forum!
There is no known conflict between the two. Please make sure you have everything updated, your Windows and both applications.
In order to check if the problem is BullGuard related and, if so, which exact BullGuard plugin causes the issue, here is what I recommend:
- Double-click on the BullGuard icon in the System Tray and open the application, or open it using the icon from the desktop, or from Start > Programs > BullGuard.
- Click on the "Settings" option from the upper part of BullGuard's window and click Advanced from the top.
- From the left panel of the window, choose "General" > "Main" and uncheck the "Allow BullGuard to protect its components against termination" option.
- Restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
- Open BullGuard > "Settings" and navigate to the "Antivirus" section from the left panel of the window and turn off the module by clicking on the button next to "Antivirus Protection".
- Click on the back button from the upper left corner of BullGuard and check if the issue persists.
- Return to the Antivirus section and click "Safe Browsing" under it. Uncheck "Safe browsing" and all the browser "Safe results".
- Check if this fixes the issue.
- Go to the "Firewall" section and disable this BullGuard engine, then click on the back button.
- Test if the problem is still there.
- Go to the "Vulnerabilities" section and disable this BullGuard engine, as well.
- Check if the problem persists.
- Navigate to the "Backup" section and turn off the module.
- Check again if the issue persists.
- Turn the "Game Booster" off.
- See if the issue persists.
- Click on "Pc Tune Up" and turn it off.
- Again, check if the issue is still there.
- Select "Parental Control" on the left. On the right side, check whether you have an active profile.
If there is none, then skip this step. Otherwise click Manage profiles, right-click on the profile and choose Disable.
- Check if the problem was remedied.
- Disable the "Home network scanner" and see if that solves the issue.
- Right-click the BullGuard icon in the System Tray/ Notification area and select "Exit" then check if the problem is still there.
Please get back to us communicating the results and which exact BullGuard plugin causes the issue.
Also, very important, I recommend that after taking these steps you re-enable BullGuard and all plugins, for your machine's protection.
