Would someone please explain to me what .oracle_jre_usage is? Is it possibly spyware or it is just an unnecessary tracking file for Java?

.oracle_jre_usage stands for Oracle, Java SE Runtime Environment Usage and is just a Java Usage Tracker related folder.

It collects data about Java works and whether you want that to happen or not is an entirely different discussion you should have with Oracle.
