Does the Spamfilter protect me when reading my emails in an internet browser?

The BullGuard Spamfilter can only be set up with an e-mail client application which is installed on your computer. The Spamfilter will analyse e-mails as they are being downloaded into the e-mail client and sort them accordingly.

When viewing e-mail in a browser, you are not actually downloading the e-mails. You only view information about them (their content) related from the e-mail server to your screen via your browser. This means that the Spamfilter cannot possibly sort the e-mails, since they are still on the e-mail server. However, most e-mail providers nowadays also deploy their own Spamfilters server-side, which you can use to keep your Inbox clean.
