Due to new cybersecurity regulations in India, The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) recently announced that, effective Jun 27 2022, it will require all VPN providers to log information such as email addresses, IP addresses, time stamps, and more. This information then be stored for a minimum of 5 years.
We are committed to keeping our customers’ data private and this directive is incompatible with our No-Log VPN policy. As a result, starting June 27th and will no longer offer India server access to all users, regardless of location.
However, all users will still be able to use our BullGuard VPN while traveling outside of India.
What this means for you:
- - You may continue to use BullGuard VPN while traveling outside of India
- - You will not be able to access BullGuard VPN while physically located in India
- - You will not be able to access an India server from any location
-
